New figures reveal an 11% rise in the amount of females whose smear test is overdue. Close to three.7 million had been late with their check out-ups in 2012-13 – 364,000 a lot more than in 2009-10. The greatest increases were among functioning-age women, data from the Well being and Social Care Details Centre displays.
Far more than a million females in their 30s were overdue, up 11%, whilst for people in their 40s the rise was 15%, to 925,000, and for people in their 50s it was 16%, to 620,000.
